The Coldest Winter Ever by Sister Souljah

So I can't say that I've recently read this book, but this is an old favorite for sure!!

This book is raw!!!  I mean really raw!!! Do not read it if you are not prepared for a roller coaster ride of emotions that is sure to follow.

This book is about Winter, daughter of a big-time drug dealer who is spoiled and pampered. Her family moves from the Brooklyn projects to a mansion on Long Island and things start to get bad - shootings, competing drug dealers, & arrests!!

You are taken through the many emotions of a young teenage girl - confusion, hurt, lust, greed, & loneliness. I will admit that while Winter is very cut throat her character is still someone you feel sympathy for. I've read this book at least 5 times already & every time I pick it up I can't seem to put it down till I finish it. I can't tell you much more without giving the book away, but I can say that this book will make you appreciate what you have.
